KidThings (“uygulama”, “biz”), çocukların kâğıda yaptığı çizimleri yapay zekâ ile sevimli görsellere ve videolara dönüştüren bir uygulamadır. Çocukların gizliliğini en önemli önceliğimiz olarak görüyoruz. Bu politika, hangi bilgilerin işlendiğini, neden işlendiğini ve haklarınızı açıklar.
Ebeveynler için kısa özet
- Hesap, giriş, e-posta veya şifre istemiyoruz. Uygulama cihaz tabanlı ve anonim çalışır.
- Çocuğunuzun çizimleri ve oluşturulan görseller cihazınızda saklanır.
- Çizimi sevimli bir görsele dönüştürmek için yalnızca kırpılmış çizim sunucumuza ve oradan yapay zekâ sağlayıcısına gönderilir; arka plandaki oda veya kişiler gönderilmez.

Çocukların gizliliği
KidThings, App Store “Çocuklar” kategorisi düşünülerek tasarlanmıştır ve COPPA ile GDPR-K gibi çocuk gizliliği kurallarına uygun olmayı hedefler. Uygulamanın yapay zekâ özellikleri ebeveyn kapısının arkasındadır ve ilk açılışta bir ebeveyn onayı alınır. Sizin oluşturduğunuz içerik
- Çizim fotoğrafları: Kamera veya fotoğraf kütüphanesinden seçilen çizim görüntüsü. Fotoğraf otomatik kırpılarak yalnızca çizim işlenir.
- Profil bilgileri: Çocuğa verdiğiniz takma ad ve emoji. Bunlar yalnızca cihazınızda tutulur, sunucuya gönderilmez.
- Video komutları: Bir eseri videoya dönüştürürken yazdığınız serbest metin (örneğin “dans etsin”). Bu metin video üretimi için sunucumuza ve yapay zekâ sağlayıcısına iletilir.
- Oluşturulan görsel ve videolar: Cihazınızda saklanır.
Satın alma bilgileri
Abonelik ve kredi satın alımları Apple App Store ve RevenueCat üzerinden yönetilir. Satın alma durumunuzu doğrulamak için anonim bir kullanıcı kimliği ve satın alma bilgisi işlenir. Kredi kartı veya ödeme bilgilerinizi biz görmeyiz; bunlar yalnızca Apple tarafından işlenir.
Kullanım ve tanılama
Uygulamanın çalışmasını ve güvenilirliğini sağlamak için sınırlı, kişisel olmayan olay verileri toplanır (örneğin bir görselin başarıyla oluşturulup oluşturulmadığı, ödeme ekranının görüntülenmesi, hata oluşması). Çiziminiz yapay zekâ ile nasıl işlenir?

- Sonuç cihazınıza geri döner ve orada saklanır.
Üretilen her görsel, çocuğa gösterilmeden önce bir içerik uygunluk kontrolünden geçer. Çizimleriniz yapay zekâ modellerini eğitmek için kullanılmaz.

Veri saklama
Çizimlerinizi sunucumuzda kalıcı olarak tutmayız. Kırpılmış çizim ve üretilen sonuç, hizmeti sunmak ve güvenlik amacıyla yalnızca gerektiği kadar süreyle saklanır; sonuç cihazınıza ulaştıktan sonra sunucudan kaldırılmaya uygun hâle gelir. Cihazınızdaki çizim, profil ve videolar ise siz silene kadar yalnızca sizde kalır.

KidThings (“the app”, “we”) turns children's paper drawings into adorable images and videos using AI. We treat children's privacy as our highest priority. This policy explains what information is processed, why, and what your rights are.
Quick summary for parents
- We do not ask for accounts, logins, emails, or passwords. The app works anonymously and on a per-device basis.
- Your child's drawings and the generated images are stored on your device.
- To transform a drawing, only the cropped drawing is sent to our server and then to the AI provider — never the room or people in the background.
- Drawings are never used to train AI and are never sold.
- No ads, no third-party tracking, and no personal data is collected from children.
Children's privacy
KidThings is designed for the App Store “Kids” category and aims to comply with children's privacy rules such as COPPA and GDPR-K. The AI features sit behind a parental gate, and parental consent is requested on first launch. We do not collect names, emails, location, or other personal information from children; we do not serve behavioral ads and we do not build profiles of children.
Information we process
Content you create
- Drawing photos: An image of the drawing taken with the camera or chosen from the photo library. The photo is automatically cropped so only the drawing is processed.
- Profile details: A nickname and emoji you give the child. These stay on your device only and are not sent to our server.
- Video prompts: The free text you type when turning a creation into a video (e.g. “make it dance”). This text is sent to our server and the AI provider to generate the video.
- Generated images and videos: Stored on your device.
Purchase information
Subscriptions and credit purchases are handled through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. An anonymous user identifier and purchase status are processed to validate your entitlements. We never see your card or payment details; those are handled by Apple.
Usage and diagnostics
To operate the app and keep it reliable, we collect limited, non-personal event data (for example, whether an image was generated successfully, when the paywall is shown, or when an error occurs). These events are linked to an anonymous user identifier and contain no name, email, or drawing content.
Identifier
Your device is recognized by an anonymous user identifier generated by RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across advertising networks.
How your drawing is processed with AI
When you transform a drawing, your cropped drawing goes through this flow:
- The image is first sent to our own server.
- Our server forwards it to our AI provider kie.ai (the FLUX‑2 image model, and the Grok Imagine model for video) to generate the adorable result.
- A downscaled preview may be sent to Google Gemini to generate a short title for the creation.
- The result is returned to your device and stored there.
Every generated image passes a content suitability check before it is shown to the child. Your drawings are not used to train AI models.
How we use information
- To transform drawings into adorable images and videos (the core function of the app).
- To validate and enforce your subscription and credit entitlements.
- To keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and block inappropriate content.
- To fix bugs and improve the reliability of the service.
Data retention
We do not keep your drawings on our servers permanently. The cropped drawing and the generated result are retained only as long as needed to deliver the service and for safety, and become eligible for removal from our server once the result has reached your device. The drawings, profiles, and videos on your device remain only with you until you delete them.

- Apple App Store — app distribution and payments.
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management (anonymous user identifier).
- kie.ai — AI provider that generates images and videos.
- Google (Gemini) — generates short titles for creations.
Security
We use encrypted connections when transmitting data and keep access limited. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
- You can delete drawings, videos, and profiles from within the app at any time.
- You can export all of your data to a single backup file (.ktbackup); this happens entirely on your device.
- You can revoke camera and photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
- You can contact us to request deletion of related data from our server.
International data transfers
Our service providers may process data on servers in different countries. In all cases, data is protected in line with this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will update the “last updated” date on this page.
